Sternum=3 parts: Upper is the manubrium, joined 2 the body of the sternum by a joint, then the main body of the sternum. @ the lower end is the zyphoid process. The upper joint is not very movable, but can b injured like any joint. Usually ice nsaids, ; it will get better. Usually from a direct blow 2 the chest. I never saw anyone who needed treatment.
