dull neck pain in the back of the neck on the right side where shoulder meets. sharp pain when swallowing in that area.

See a physician: This may be something as simple as a rib that is out place, but with a sharp pain during swallowing, i would recommend seeing a physician and having an examination, possibly imaging to make sure something more serious is not occurring. If everything bad is ruled out, then consider manipulation and physical therapy. Again, i would first recommend evaluation by a physician.
