No.: We used to think that after a d;c contraception is required for 3-6 months. That has proven not to be the case - in fact women who try to get pregnant soon after a d;c have higher fertility rates. Please discuss with your gynecologist if there is any other reason for contraception. Take Folic Acid 1 mg daily and best of luck!
