BACK PAIN AFTER D;C: You may have vaginal bleeding, pelvic pain and back pain for few days following this procedure d;c if it is too severe call your surgeon and get some pain medicine.

SOME discomfort: Is to be expected if it is the day of, or right after surgery. I would first read your discharge instructions, and take any meds told to.It should tell you what is to be expected and what would be concerning. If meds don't help, i would call the surgeon on call--their name ; # should be on your discharge paperwork. Biggest warning signs would be fever, severe pain that gets worse and not better.
