A doctor has provided 1 answer

Cough after pneumoni: If you have had a full course of antibiotics but have a persistent cough, this is a fairly common occurrence. You are not likely to be contagious. The inflammation of the bronchi (the breathing tubes). Takes a long time to resolve. Just give it time. Feel better.
