Food allergies?: Common causes of this can be hemorrhoids, over-cleaning, or under-cleaning after bm, tumors, and even food allergies that have not been diagnosed. See your local doc and have an exam and look for causes. If you think of food allergies think about IgG testing via metametrix or similar lab as most food allergies that cause this type of reaction are delayed type and won't show with skin testing.

Itchy Butt; Caffeine: Is the most common cause of anal itching not hemorrhoids as stated win the ads. Pinworms can be another cause usually in children after playing in the dirt. But cokes, coffee, tea, chocolate, and energy drinks like red bull have lots of caffeine leading to severe itching and bleeding, even waking you from your sleep at night clawing at your bottom. Stop the caffeine!
