Pseudobulbar affect?: Laughing or crying uncontrollably in response to emotional situations that are only mild or not even especially funny or sad is probably a wiring problem. While it's a feature of some illnesses, normal folks can have it in particular situations. You can talk with your physician about it, or a neurologist may know some meds if it's actually problematic.
