Acephalic migrain: Classical history describes it as a 'scintillating scotoma' where a twinkling point of light starts to travel and enlarges as it moves across the vision, typically lasting 10-15 minutes. It is a type of a migrain without the headache, although sometimes it follows. Usually there is no residual long lasting effects. I would get a complete eye exam just in case though.
