Difficult answer: Some many causes, simple viral illness to life threatening. Need to be examined and test done. Simple blood test and chest xray to more complicated test and ct scans. Differential include but not limitted to:viral/bacterial/clot/cancers/vasculitis/rheumatological/cardiac disease(valves)/chf/fungal infection/etc. Need to see your md.
