A member asked:

Would you die if you accidentally ate a venomous spider but did not get bitten (such as one at the bottom of a cup or dish unnoticed)?

Unlikely : Very few venomous spiders will kill a healthy human even after a bite. The possibility of dying after ingestion is exceedingly small. Most spiders will make you sick, not kill you. If you are well enough to write this, you are likely healthy enough to prevail.
