A member asked:

With a vp shunt the tightness you have in your neck with it will that get better it's been 5 months since i've had it put in?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It should: The tightness is from the tunneling under the skin for the tube. If it persisted there may be scar tissue forming and moving the neck gradually might loosen it up. I have use pt in a few of patients who have experienced this.
