Bipolar pts should: Try to never change meds without a discussion with their treating psychiatrist.High risk of destabilization .Any way to hang in there or get a phone consult or a message to the doc?

The doc prescribing: Is the one you should speak to now to voice your concerns first most. And maybe they can help you find a different psychiatrist with a shorter waiting time. Mainly please try not to do your own medication management without first talking it over with doc who prescribed it or your primary care physician. Take care.

MEDICATION: Best to discuss medication with your Psychiatrist. If uncomfortable with your Dr. consult another for a second opinion. Have a physical exam by a Dr. to determine if you have a physical illness. Consult with a Clinical Psychologist for psychotherapy with ZOOM sessions. Fears and anxiety could be heightened due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Stay safe & hopeful to elevate your immune system.
