Old blood: There may have been old blood left post period in the vagina or there is an abrasion of the vulva or vagina.

Not yet: This could still be something left over from your period, and in the absence of any other symptoms there is no urgency to check it out. Monitor this carefully and if other symptoms do develop seek medical attention.
