Could be serious.: The combination of fever and leg pain suggests a long list of diagnoses; thankfully the most serious are quite rare. Infections of the bone or joint are more rare than previously, but do occur. Do see the doc asap and note: recent cold, flu, or sore throat, prior episodes, rashes, pallor, bruising, abdominal complaints or diarrhea.
