Go to MD: The right lower quadrant of your abdomen has certain organs there and yes, it includes your ovary but also there is your ureter (where urine passes through) and your appendix. It is best to see your doctor and be evaluated, and if your symptoms are bad enough, go to the ed for proper evaluation.

Cramping and nausea: Have you been on Depo-Provera for over a month or did you just start? If you have been on it for a while it is possible, although uncommon, to develop a cyst. If you just started on depo, your ovaries may still be adjusting. If the pain worsens, you have fevers or chills, or persistent vomiting, you should be evaluated by your doctor. Its possible that these pains could be caused by your appendix.
