See a deem: The only way to know for sure is to see a dermatologist. From what you are describing, risk is low but you really need a trained eye to make the diagnosis.

Probably not: What you are describing does not sound like melanoma. However I would bring this to the attention of your friendly dermatologist. And remember to protect your skin. Wear sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30 and try to cover up as much as possible when outdoors for prolonged periods of time.
