See a 1ary care md: There are many causes of pain when breathing. This is not an orthopaedic problem. You should start by talking to your primary care physician.

Most likely in chest: You may have a problem with your lungs such as pneumonia, or irritation of the coverig of the lungs which is called pleurisy. If you didnt have trauma to your rib cage, it most likely is not bone related. You should see a physician to get an accurate diagnosis.
