Causes: Has your doctor given you some answers as to why you might not have a period? If Provera (medroxyprogesterone) didn't provoke a period, is it possible that you have a hypo-estrogen environment in your uterus? Measurement of the lining of the uterus can typically answer that question. Have your thyroid and pituitary been checked? Are you under or over weight? There may be more tests to perform.
