Anterior fusion: It sounds like you have had a decompression and fusion from the back of the spine. This seems not to have been successful. Sometimes, there is "pinching" of the nerves from the anterior (front) part of the spine. A procedure that is done for this is an anterior lumbar interbody disc excision with fusion (alif). The approach is via the abdomen.
