Need to be checked: Peeling skin can be a sign of several different things. It could be a reaction to the antibiotics or from the infection that the antibiotics are treating. More concerning is the possibility that your child has a something called kawasaki disease. If that is the case, he doesn't need antibiotics, he needs to be seen by a pediatric specialist. I would take him to a pediatrician or pediatric er.
