It all depends: A general answer would be to think about your blood sugar being low or irregular in some way. If this happens whether you sleep four hours or twelve hours it would be unusual. Try eating a handful of almonds at bedtime and see if that makes a difference. Also avoid highly starched and sugared foods for dinner or snacks like potatoes, bread, pasta, rice, corn, soda pop etc to see if that helps too.
