Ovulation 2 wks ago: Ovulation actually happens 2 weeks before the menses starts.After ovulation the ovary makes Progesterone which prepares uterus for pregnancy. If no pregancy, Progesterone decreases causing the lining of the uterus to be shed (menses). Changes in discharge are common when hormones go up and down. Dc increases and is mucousy around ovulation. Dc becomes heavier and whiter before and after menses.
