?complex partial sz: Not sure what prompts your question, but will answer generically. Complex partial seizures are focal events, which start with aura (smells, tastes, deja vu), followed by alteration of consciousness for about 1-2 min, associated by automatisms (smacking of lips, blinking, twitching), and then amnesia.
