VIrus: The most likely cause is a virus, particularly if she is feeling sick, or running a fever, or both. The classic red-cheek viral rash is called fifth disease, but other viruses can cause it as well. It could be other things too, so you would be wise to check with your pediatrician or dermatologist if the rash persists.
