A member asked:

How to tell if tobacco smoke is affecting your cardiovascular system?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

You can't: You can assume that any tobacco smoke to which you are exposed is harmful. If you want to be more precise, an arterial blood gas test could measure your carboxyhemoglobin level which is a measure of the amount of carbon monoxide (ie smoke) to which you' ve been exposed.
