Skin reactions: The main side effect of laser hair removal is the effect on the skin from the laser. There is heat generated from the laser to kill the hair follicle and the surrounding skin may have some heat rash, blisters, scarring, or pigmentation. If the laser is set correctly you will have permanent hair removal with only a small and short lived local reaction.
