See below: Heart attack due to coronary dissection or thrombosis resulting in heart attack (myocardial infarction), shock or death. Access site bleeding, hematoma, fistula, or pseudoaneurysm. Allergy to the medications given or the contrast agent (dye) used, including anaphylaxis and death. That said, it's a very safe procedure.
