See a doctor: Sleep paralysis is a phenomenon in which people, either when falling asleep or wakening, temporarily experience an inability to move. Not real common, but a dr. Should be consulted. There could be some danger if it is reoccurring. I would not wait it out to see if it stops.

See below: Agree with dr. Bassman. Sleep paralysis, if often, usually indicates disruption of sleep and it can point to an underlying medical issue such as sleep apnea or narcolepsy. Besides seeing a sleep medicine doctor, try to consolidate ; regularize your sleep. Avoid caffeine near bedtime. Hope that helps!
