Depends on variables: Age when first given, type of vaccine, lifetime changes with the patient all influence the timing and number given. If i start vaccines on a 4 yo child adopted from overseas, i give less than if i start them at birth.Their older age allows more benefit from fewer ( but they went for years unprotected).I person may have to take all his/her vaccines over if they have a bone marrow transplant.
