Please explain how long does it take for acute keratitis to heal?

Depends: The healing time relates to the cause of the keratitis. Keratitis is a disturbance of the corneal surface from dryness, inflammation and some internal eye problems. It can also be caused by environmental toxins and allergy. You should be evaluated by your ophthalmologist and get started on treatment to limit the keratitis.
