Yes: Mris are done with contrast medium to show details.

Depends: There are times when we give gallodinium injection which is a contrast given, that helps us differentiate tissues depending upon blood perfusion and better clarify the diagnosis. We do this by comparing the scan with and without the contrast. But if you are talking about epidural steroid injection for pain, then you can not have it at the same time because different specialist are involved.
