This malformation describes an abnormal development of air filled or fluid filled spaces ,or cysts instead of .lung tissue, in the lungs.If the baby has no breathing difficulties at delivery, x rays should be done to see if treatment is needed , with follow up ct scans to monitor their growth and effect on the remaining lungs ,and surgical removal if indicated. Sometimes they stop growing .
