A member asked:

Could i go into the army with hemochromatosis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Absolutely: Thanks for your wanting to serve. Hemochromatosis is very common, and it is extremely easy to manage with phlebotomy. I'm hoping that it was diagosed and treatment begun in time and that your liver wasn't ruined. I hope you enjoy your time in the service and keep your illness under control.
