Could a person have heart cancer?

Very rare: Since the cells of the heart seldom divide, cancer vary rarely arises here. Cancer may spread to the heart from other sites but when the tumor is this aggressive, usually this is not the fatal event.

Yes: Cancer of the heart is unusual, and is seen principally in children. The principal benign tumor is an atrial myxoma, which can be surgically removed. Malignant tumors are treated with chemotherapy because it can also involve the ventricles, which are harder to resect.
