Pica: Pica (eating non-nutritive substances) is common in infants/toddlers, If it happens after 2 years of age than it is not considered normal. It can cause iron deficiency, lead toxicity and parasitic infections

Pica: Your grandson has a condition known as pica. Its exact cause is unknown but many think it is due an iron deficiency condition. Have him tested for anemia by his pediatrician
