Should i be concerned if my 11 week old son has ocular albinism, what is this?

Evaluation needed: Albinism is an inherited condition in which pigment formation is disturbed. In ocular albinism the eyes mostly are affected producing pale eye color, light sensitivity and lowered vision. Complete albinism causes the skin to be pasty white, the iris to be pink and the hair to be pure white. The vision is always diminished in this form. An ophthalmologist should be consulted for your child.

Opthal visit: I agree that an ophthalmologist who specializes in children should be consulted. I would suggest asking them about how to optimize your son's vision.
