How to find out: Merkel cell cancers aren't super-hard like keloids and probably won't have the little crab-claw serrations at the edge. Since you had to ask, get two physician opinions. I've seen these nasty cancers undercalled. Best wishes.

Doubt it: See a surgeon and if concerned have them do an incisional bx of your keloid.
