A member asked:

Can there be some unwelcome effect on hepatitis b vaccine?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: Anyone can have a reaction to the vaccines. There have been some reported cases of lupus developing after hep b. There have been reports of increased autism especially in boys after hbv (although literature insists there is no causal link between vaccines and autism). Swelling and hardness at the site. If no risk factors for hepatitis, consider if you really want the vaccine.
