Maybe in future?: Cirrhosis of the liver is the end result of damage to the cells of the liver. When healthy cells die, scar tissue is formed in their place. Cirrhosis becomes clinically evident when the amount of liver damage surpasses the liver's ability to repair itself and regenerate new liver cells. There is no supportive or replacement therapy yet available. Researchers are interested in finding a solution
