Both sedating: Both can be sedating, but seroquel (quetiapine) is used as an antipsychotic for people with hallucinations and delusions and is also used in bipolar disorder and used as a mood stabilizer. Diazepam is a benzodiazepine used to treat anxiety and is like alcohol in a pill, they work on the same brain receptors.
