None.: "cleft lip" is the more commonly used term today, but they refer to the same condition.

Older term: Hare lip is the same as cleft lip. All rabbits (hares) have cleft lips and this is normal for them. This is where the term comes from. Many people feel this is a derogatory term and so it is not often used nowadays.
