I see ads about men on trips having to stop to go to the john. why is that?

Age related: Some men develop enlargement of the prostate with age. This sometimes pinches off the urethra through which urine flows. The end result is more frequent urination. There are other causes of more frequent urination but they are not as common as benign prostatic hypertrophy with bladder outlet obstruction.
