PMDD: Premenstrual dysphoric disorder (pmdd) is a more severe form of premenstrual disorder (pms). Pms can have both physical ; emotional symptoms, but pmdd's mood shifts are extreme ; can be disruptive to relationships, school, work, etc. Both syndromes have bloating, breast tenderness, fatigue, and changes in sleep and eating habits. Pmdd adds more irritability, sadness/hopelessness, moodiness, etc.
