Keep trying: It is possible you may have had a stroke on the right half of your brain or have some nerve deficit on your left upper extremity. As a general rule , if in 100days it is still flaccid it may remain flaccid, however if some function has begun to return, it may continue to improve past the 100day mark. So continue pt/ot efforts. Do not give up, keep trying. What youhave a yearlater isprettymuch it.

Talk to surgeon: You had triple bypass surgery . After surgery you left hand does not work. If your left foot does work that is important. Sometimes the nerve in the left hand is stretched on the bed if you are overweight. Talk to your surgeon for evaluation and referral for physical therapy and evaluation. Your anesthesiologist will also want to know. Hope this helps.
