A member asked:

What to do if i have had conjunctivitis for over a year can anyone help me get rid of it once and for all?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Dry eyes!: Sounds like chronic dry eyes and/or allergies. No cure, but you can start with artificial tears routinely (one drop 4 times a day every day), oral omega-3's, and warm compresses. Next, medicated drops (restasis, mild steroid drops, NSAID drops) or punctal occlusion may be helpful. It may take months to start seeing improvement, but stay with treatment.
