A member asked:

Can you tell me how can lymphoma affect the lymphatic system and circulatory system?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes it can: Lymphoma is a cancer arising in the lymphatic system which is connected to the circulatory (blood) system. The disease typically begins in the lymph glands and travels as cancerous cells(lymphocytes) in the blood and may also involve the bone marrow. Most patients will present with enlarged lymph glands or with changes in the blood.
