? exogeneous hormone: The milk itself is not an issue. There are concerns with the various hormones (growth hormones and estrogens) given to the cows to stimulate their milk production and how much of this may end up in the milk. Milk packaging today will often specify when it comes from cows that did not receive hormonal stimulation.
