Rapid heartbeat: Sounds like rapid heart beat to me. The cornerstone of treatment is an accurate diagnosis. If you truly have constant rapid heart beat, it's going to be exceedingly easy to diagnose (with just an ekg). Otherwise, a 24 hour recording would be helpful.
