A disease. ..: ...That effects many areas of the spine ; pelvis. People who have it have a blood marker called hla-b27, there are about 10% false+. First sign is decreased chest expansion with inspiration. Then can effect the si joints. Hips, ; spine. In the spine the segments gradually fuse, the hips show degenerative changes bilaterally. The diagnostic test is indocin, (indomethacin) the patient improves with a couple doses
