Yes: This has been studied, but mostly for research at this time. Adult stem/stromal cells in fat are viable for minimum of 24 hours. Some have used early harvested cells to 'store' by freezing techniques. It is relatively uncommon to have the opportunity, and early in the process of deciding how to use them.
